There is certainly nothing wrong with the company of good friends and a romantic partner, but when they’re not available, what do you do? Do you get depressed or feel lonely?
Learn to enjoy being by yourself by cultivating activities and hobbies such as reading, praying, volunteering, taking up a new hobby, attending a class, exercising, cooking, texting a friend, or just walking your dog in the park.
When you keep yourself busy you don’t have time to feel lonely or sad. Enjoy your time alone and you won’t always feel like there is something or someone missing.
