A FREE GIFT FROM GOD
“For it is by His grace that we are saved through faith; it is the gift of God.” – Ephesians 2:8
Good news! God loves you and has a free gift for you. It is salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us so:
“For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
It doesn’t matter what kind of life you have lived, or how many bad things you have done, God still loves you. He is willing to forgive you and give you a fresh new start. All you have to do is repent, believe that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for your sins, and receive Him as the Savior and Lord of your life.
Can salvation be that easy?
Absolutely! God did not make it hard to be saved. You don’t need to wait until you’re good enough to deserve His pardon. Salvation is a free gift, with no strings attached. Simply place your FAITH in Jesus Christ for your redemption. He has already paid the penalty for your sins on the cross, if you will believe and receive it. Accept His atoning sacrifice by making Him the Savior and Lord of your life.
God’s love is the real thing
“This is real love–not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” – 1 John 4:10
Are you willing to open up your arms to God’s love and forgiveness today? If so, pray the following prayer and mean it with all your heart:
“Dear heavenly Father, I thank You for loving me and sending your only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for my sins. Today, I humble myself before You and repent of my sinful ways. I ask for your forgiveness – for all the bad things I’ve done in the past. I invite Jesus Christ to become my Savior and Lord, and help me to become a better person from this day forth. Amen.”
A new creation in Christ
If you have just prayed this prayer, you are now forgiven by God, saved from perishing, and have become a new creation in Christ. The old things of the past have been washed away by the atoning blood of Jesus Christ; you have been spiritually born again.
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, the new has come into being.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
What do I do now?
The next step is to join a local Christian church and be water baptized. As you begin to attend church regularly, you will grow and mature in your new Christian faith. Also, you’ll make new friendships in church and become a part of the family of God. You’re life will drastically change for the better!
