Christians Gone Rogue

Christians Gone Rogue_cover_jpgThe Dictionary defines a ROGUE as a person who has deviated from the standard norms and does not behave in a usual or acceptable way. Therefore, in the same manner, a Rogue Christian is a renegade – no longer obedient to biblical standards or submitted to godly authority, answerable to no one but himself. And our churches today are full of them!

Many start out well in the beginning – attending church, following orthodox doctrine, and living in conformity to the Word of God. But later, they slowly become apostates by throwing off all godly Christian standards and become the most despicable people.

The biggest problem is that many of them will continue to stay in their churches. They will put on a masquerade of superficial godliness, serve in the various church ministries, and fellowship with you. But secretly they will live contradicting lives and spiritually contaminate everything and everyone they come in contact with. If left unchecked, they will wreak havok with your life, your family, and your entire church or ministry.

“Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Get rid of the old “yeast” by removing this wicked person from among you. Then you will be like a fresh batch of dough made without yeast, which is what you really are. Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.” – 1 Corinthians 5:6-7

The purpose of this book is to help you to grow in biblical discernment. As you do, you will be able, with God’s help, to expose these spots in your love feasts who have gone in the way of Cain. If they refuse loving correction and discipline, they must be cast out of your churches, and communion with them is to be avoided at all costs.

My prayer is that love, purity and holiness be restored to the body of Christ today.

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of. But all things having their true character exposed by the light are made manifest; for that which makes everything manifest is Christ’s light. Therefore he says, ‘Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.’ See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” – Ephesians 5:11-15
